Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • Paneer (cottage cheese) cut into triangles 200 grams


  • Onions pureed 4 medium (2 pureed and cut the rest of 2 in halves and separate the each layer)


  • capsicum :1 cut in to cubed


  • Tomatoes pureed 2 large


  • Ginger-garlic paste 2 teaspoons


  • Malai or fresh cream 1/2 cup


  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon


  • Coriander powder 1 teaspoon


  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon


  • Cinnamon 1 inch sticks


  • Cloves 3


  • Coriander leaves 1/2 tblspn


  • Salt 1/2 to 1 teaspoon (as per the taste)

Directions

  • Heat oil in a kadhai or pan and saute the paneer for just 5 -10 secs and Soak them in 3 cups of cold water.
  • In the same pan add cubed capsicum and separated layers of onions halves and saute for a minute or two. Keep these onions and capsicum aside in a separate plate.
  • Now in a same pan add cloves, cinnamon sticks, onion paste ,and ginger garlic paste. Saute well till lightly golden. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala
  • Add pureed tomatoes
  • Simmer for 3-4 minutes till oil get separated
  • Add fresh malai (fresh cream ) Mix well and allow the mixture to boil.
  • Cover and cook for five minutes till oil separates.Add salt and drained paneer pieces, sauted capsicum and onions Garnish this with coriander leaves.
