Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 6 medium sized tomatoes


  • 100 gms paneer


  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated


  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder


  • 1 teaspon chat masala


  • 1 tablespoon green chilies chopped


  • 2 tablespoon coriander finely chopped


  • 1/4 cup chopped cashew and raisins


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 3 potatoes, boiled and mashed


  • 1/4 cup cornflour


  • 2 cups Oil for deep frying

Directions

  • Wash tomatoes cut it from the top end horizontally and scoop out the seeds from it. Do it to all the tomatoes.
  • In bowl mix paneer(grated), cashew, raisins, coriander, chili, ginger, cumin powder, chat masala and salt
  • Now stuff this paneer mix into the tomatoes properly.
  • Now for the upper covering, mix boiled mashed potatoes and cornflour, add little salt to taste and bind it like a dough.
  • Now cover the stuffed tomato with this potato covering .
  • Cover it like a pattice.
  • Meanwhile heat oil in pan and deep these pattice on a low to medium flame till it becomes golden brown in colour.
  • Serve it with green chutney or ketchup. Perfect snack for this monsoon.
