Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cup maida (all purpose flour)


  • 1/2 cup besan(gram flour)


  • 1/2 tsp salt or as required


  • 1/4 cup of oil


  • 1 tbs seesme seeds


  • 1/2 tbs khaskhas


  • 1/4 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1/4 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tbs desiccated coconut


  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 2 tsp sugar


  • 1 tbs lemon juice


  • 250 ml or as required oil for frying

Directions

  • take maida and besan in a mixing bowl put salt to taste and 1/4 cup oil mix very well and use water knead a tight dough and keep aside for 30 minutes
  • now take a pan put on low flame put seesme seed, khaskhas, coconut and all other masala cook for 5 minuets and let it cool down
  • now divide the dough in two equally portions and make balls
  • roll a ball with rolling pin not very thin
  • now spread lemon juice on it very well
  • divide the masala also in 2 equally portions
  • one portions spread on it very well then from the one side with tight hands start rolling hardly
  • in last corner paste with lemon water
  • now cut 1/2 -1/2 inches pieces with knife from these roll
  • make 2nd roll also like that
  • now take a wok put oil for frying and on medium heat fry bakhervadi till golden brown colour
  • you can store this snack for 1 month in air tight containers
