Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1. For kofta:-


  • 1/2 cup spinach puree


  • 1 cup grated Paneer


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 3/4 cup gram flour


  • 1 potato boiled and mashed


  • 1/4 cup corn flour


  • 2 cup Oil for deep frying


  • 2. For curry:-


  • 1 chopped onion


  • 2 chopped green chilli


  • 1 cup tomato puree


  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste


  • 2 tbsp cashew paste


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/4 tsp salt or to taste


  • 2 tbsp fresh cream


  • 1/2 tsp kasuri methi


  • 1/4 tsp garam masala


  • 1 cup water


  • 2tbsp chopped green coriander for garnish


  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds


  • 2 bay leaf

Directions

  • In a bowl mix spinach puree , grated paneer , boiled and mashed potato Gram flour and salt.
  • Mix it very well
  • Now make small lemon size balls from this mixture
  • Coated with corn flour
  • Deep fry all balls in oil on medium flame.
  • Fry it till it becomes golden in colour
  • Now in a wok heat oil on medium flame. Add cumin seeds and bay leaf.
  • Add onion, green chilli and ginger paste.
  • Add tomato puree and mix it .
  • Add all spices and mix it very well.
  • Add cashew paste and fresh cream . Cook it for 2 minutes.
  • Now add water for curry and cook it for 5-8 minutes on low flame.
  • Add dry fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) and garam masala.
  • In last add fried koftas and cook it for 3-5 minutes
  • Delicious, Yummy spinach paneer kofta curry is now ready to serve with roti, rice or naan.
