Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped onion


  • 1 cup chopped tomato


  • 1 cup boiled mashed potato


  • 1 cup boiled peas


  • 1 cup grated paneer


  • 1/4 cup chopped capsicum


  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste


  • 2 chopped green chillies


  • 2 tablespoon pav bhaji masala


  • 1 teaspoon kashmiri chili powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon kasturi methi


  • salt to taste


  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


  • 3 tablespoon butter


  • for toasting pav


  • 8 pav


  • 1 tablespoon butter


  • 1/2 tablespoon pav bhaji masala


  • garnishing


  • Lemon slice


  • sliced onion


  • grated cheese

Directions

  • Heat butter in a pan add chopped onion and saute for few minutes then add green chili, ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes
  • add chopped capsicum stir fry few minutes then add chopped tomato, pav bhaji masala, kashmiri chili powder, kasturi methi, salt, lemon juice and fry them till they become perfectly cooked .
  • then add mashed potatoes, boiled peas, grated paneer and some water and mix well cook it on low flame for 10 minutes.
  • Heat some butter on tawa and add some pav bhaji masala then put pav slice on it and toast it from both sides.
  • serve hot pav with bhaji and garnish bhaji with sliced onion, sliced lemon, and some grated cheese.
