Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 4 peeled potatoes


  • 1 tbsp corn flour


  • 1 tsp Salt to taste


  • 1 tsp mixed herbs


  • 1 tsp oregano


  • 1 tsp peri peri masala


  • Ice cold water 1 bowl


  • 2 cups Oil for frying

Directions

  • Wash potato and cut it into wedges or thin sticks.
  • Add all diced potatoes into ice cool water and let it sit for 5 minutes to remove all the starch. It will make the fries crispy.
  • Heat oil in a pan on high flame. Wipe excess water from the potato with a tissue paper and transfer it into hot oil, fry till it turns golden.
  • When its half cooked remove it on a plate and let it cool completely. Again transfer into the hot oil and fry untill golden.
  • Remove on a paper napkin, wipe off the Excess oil and toss it in salt, mixed herbs and peri peri masala (optional).
  • Serve hot with mayonnese and tomato ketchup.
