Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 250 grams paneer


  • 2 tablespoon tea


  • 1 Onion


  • 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste


  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds


  • 1 teaspoon paneer masala powder


  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds


  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri Mirch powder


  • 1 teaspoon Kasoori Methi


  • 1 cup milk


  • salt as per taste


  • 2 tablespoons butter


  • Water 1/2 litre

Directions

  • Firstly heat water and boil the tea and strain with strainer.
  • Then cut paneer into triangles and add into tea water and keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
  • Now in a mixer jar add onion, poppy seeds and grind like a fine paste.
  • Meanwhile take out paneer from tea water and keep aside. Then in a pan heat butter and add cumin seeds and crackle them.
  • After that add onion paste and ginger garlic paste and saute till oil oozes out.
  • Than add Coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, paneer masala powder, kashmiri Mirch and Kasoori Methi. Mix nicely.
  • Saute for 5 minutes more and then add milk, if you require more gravy then add water.
  • At last add paneer and boil for another 2 minutes. yummy paneer dish is ready now.
  • Enjoy hot paneer kaleji with rice, chapati or naan.
