Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 250 grams paneer

  • 2 tablespoon tea

  • 1 Onion

  • 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste

  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

  • 1 teaspoon paneer masala powder

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder

  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri Mirch powder

  • 1 teaspoon Kasoori Methi

  • 1 cup milk

  • salt as per taste

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • Water 1/2 litre

    Firstly heat water and boil the tea and strain with strainer.

    Then cut paneer into triangles and add into tea water and keep aside for 1/2 an hour.

    Now in a mixer jar add onion, poppy seeds and grind like a fine paste.

    Meanwhile take out paneer from tea water and keep aside. Then in a pan heat butter and add cumin seeds and crackle them.

    After that add onion paste and ginger garlic paste and saute till oil oozes out.

    Than add Coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, paneer masala powder, kashmiri Mirch and Kasoori Methi. Mix nicely.

    Saute for 5 minutes more and then add milk, if you require more gravy then add water.

    At last add paneer and boil for another 2 minutes. yummy paneer dish is ready now.

    Enjoy hot paneer kaleji with rice, chapati or naan.
