Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 cups semolina


  • 1 small chopped onion


  • 3-4 curry leaves


  • 2 green chillies chopped


  • 1 tsp urad dal


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 2 cherry tomatoes


  • 40 gram grated paneer


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 tsp coriander leaves


  • 1/2 tsp grated dry coconut


  • 1 pinch sugar

Directions

  • Dry roast semolina till it turns brown and remove in a bowl.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, when it crackle add urad dal, green chillies and curry leaves.
  • Next add onion and salt. Wait till onion turns translucent and shrink in size. Prick cherry tomatoes with a fork and add it to the pan.
  • Transfer semolina in the pan and mix it well. Add a pinch of sugar and stir.
  • Add 1 1/2 cup water and cover for 5 minutes till all the water dries up.
  • Add grated paneer, lemon juice, coriander leaves and sprinkle some grated coconut.
  • Grease a cake tin or silicon mould with oil, add this mixture and gently press it. Demould on a serving plate and garnish with lemon slice..Serve hot.
