Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Paneer- 200gms


  • Onion- 2 medium


  • Ginger- 1inch


  • Garlic- 6 to 7cloves


  • Tomatoes- 2medium


  • Spinach leaves- 1cup


  • Coriander leaves- 1/2cup


  • Dahi- 1/2cup


  • Cream- 1/2cup


  • Haldi- 1/2tsp


  • Red chili powder- 1/2tsp


  • Coriander powder- 1/2tsp


  • Cumin powder- 1/2tsp


  • Garam masala- 1tsp


  • Clove- 3


  • Green cardamom- 3


  • Cinnamon- 1inch


  • Cumin seeds- 1/2tsp


  • Green chili- 1


  • Sugar- 1/4tsp


  • Oil- 2 1/2tbsp

Directions

  • Soak clean and chop spinach and coriander leaves
  • Clean and peel onion, ginger and garlic
  • Clean and cube tomatoes
  • Beat dahi up to smooth
  • Heat 1tbsp of oil in a kadai. In that add onion and saute.
  • When onion is golden colour add tomatoes, ginger and garlic and saute up to mushy
  • Then add chopped spinach and coriander leaves and saute up to dry.
  • Let it cool down and make a smooth paste
  • In the same pan heat 1 1/2tbsp of oil, add chopped green chili to it and also add the grounded paste
  • Saute that masala up to dry.
  • Now add all the spices to it except garan masala
  • Now add smoothed dahi and suate
  • Then add cream and mix
  • Cut paneer in cubes
  • Add the paneer cubes to the gravy also add garam masala
  • Cover and cook for mins. Serve hot with paratha or biryani
