Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 11/2cup mooth dal flour


  • 1/2cup urad dal flour


  • 1/4cup whole wheat flour


  • 2tbsp oil


  • 1tbsp red chilli powder


  • 1tsp ajwain


  • 1cup water


  • 1/4cup suger and salt as per taste


  • 1tbsp papad kharo (soda)

Directions

  • Heat water and add suger, salt, and papad kharo and keep a side
  • Combine all the flour, red chilli powder, ajwain and mix well
  • Add suger-salt water mixture and knead into a firm-hard dough using enough water.
  • Cover the dough with a lid or wet muslin cloth and keep a side 15 minutes.
  • Knead again using 1tdp oil and divide the dough into two or three equal portion.
  • Make into cylindrical roll and cut into equal slice.
  • Roll each portion into a round small puri.
  • Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Serve any time as a snake with tea or coffee.
