Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Cottage cheese or Paneer 250 grams

  • Finely chopped onion 1 cup

  • Tomato paste 2 cups

  • Tomato sauce 3/4th cup

  • Oil 2 cups

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • Garam masala 1 -2 teaspoons

  • Red chilli powder 1-2 teaspoons

  • Turmeric powder 1/4th teaspoon

  • Coriander powder 1-2 teaspoons

  • Milk 1/2 cup

  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup

  • Green chillies slit 2-3

  • Crushed garlic 2-3 teaspoons

  • Jeera 1-2 teaspoons

  • Kasuri methi 1 teaspoon

  • Salt according to taste 1 teaspoon approximately

Directions

    Heat sufficient oil in a pan

  • 02

    Cut paneer in big chunks and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown

  • 03

    Assemble all the required ingredients

    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and 2 tablespoons of butter

  • 05

    Crackle jeera and add finely chopped onion, green chillies and crushed garlic . Saute'till golden brown

    when it's brown .. add Tomato paste and tomato sauce

    Now add all the spices , kasuri methi, creame, milk and mix well

  • 08

    Add fried paneer .. adjust slat according to taste

    Mix well and cook covered for next 5 to 10 minutes on low heat

  • 10

    Garnish with some fresh coriander and little butter and serve hot immediately with chapati phulka naan or rice and enjoy endlessly with family and friends
