Preheat oven at 180C
Grease or line a baking pan.
Sift dry ingredients; flours, baking powder & soda, cardamom & milk powder
In a bowl whisk together, Milk, Curd, Sugar and ghee.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients in 3 portions
Mix well, add water if required and if batter is very thick.
Mix 1 teaspoon flour to chopped nuts or tutti fruity and add to the batter mix well.
Pour the batter in prepared baking pan. Sprinkle some nuts on top
Bake for 20 minutes
Check with a skewer, inserted in middle, should come out clean
Leave the cake tin over a wire rack for 10 minutes.
Serve warm with tea or coffee
