Ingredients

  • 4 Urad Dal Papads crushed lightly


  • 200 grams Cottage Cheese Cubes


  • 1/4 cup Gram flour (besan)


  • 2 tablespoons crushed peanut


  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt


  • 3 tablespoons green chutney


  • 2 cup Oil for deep-frying

Directions

  • Mix together gram flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, crushed peanut and salt in a bowl. Add sufficient water and whisk to make a thick smooth batter.
  • cut the cottage cheese cubes from middle and apply green chutney.
  • Spread the crushed papads evenly on a plate.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Dip the cottage cheese cubes in the batter and roll in the crushed papads. Gently slide into hot oil and deep-fry in medium hot oil till golden. Drain on absorbent.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce
