Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 kg. potatoes boiled,peeled and cooled


  • 300 gm. Poha


  • 250 milli oil for frying


  • 2 tsp sugar


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 2 finely chopped green chilli


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 2 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp or as per taste salt


  • 5-6 curry leaves

Directions

  • Clean wash and soak poha for 5 minutes and drain excess water by pressing poha.
  • Then take a large bowl and add boiled potatoes,soak poha,red and green chilli,salt to taste, garam masala, lemon juice , curry leaves and coriander leaves mix well.
  • Now take small piece of poha mixture and give shape of tikkis .
  • Now heat oil in a kadai and deep fry cutlets till it becomes golden and crisp
  • Serve hot with ketchup.
