Ingredients

  • Grated coconut 1 cup

  • Hung curd 1/2 cup

  • Bread slices 8

  • For tampering mustard seeds 1 tsp

  • Curry leaves 5 to 6

  • Oil 2 tsp

  • Chopped green chilies 1/2 tsp

  • Red chili powder 1/4 tsp Salt as per taste

    First prepare the curd. For that I have poured the curd over a stainer and then kept it in freeze for 1 hour. All the whey will be collected in the bottom vessel. Your hung curd is ready.

    Now grate the coconut.

    Prepare the tampering. Heat oil in a pan add all the tampering ingredients when mustard seeds start to crackle switch off the flame.

    Now in a bowl mix together the grated coconut, hung curd and the tampering and add salt as per your taste. Mix well. Your coconut stuffing is ready.

    Heat tava or toaster. Butter the bread on both the sides. Apply the stuffing over one bread and cover with another.

    Cook until golden brown. Cut in half.
