  • Gram Flour/Besan - 1 Cup Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tablespoon Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tablespoon Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tablespoon Ajwain - 1/2 tablespoon Pinch of Hing (Asafoetida ) 1 Chopped Green Chilies 1 Chopped Green Coriander Leaves Dry Mango Powder/ Amchur - 1/2 tablespoon Salt to taste Water - 1/2 Cup for making Besan Batter Oil for frying Pakoras Whole Wheat Bread - 6 breads ( each bread cut in square shape 4 pieces)


  • Take Besan/Gram flour in a bowl and add water, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, Salt, Ajwain, Dry mango powder, and Hing. Mix all these ingredients well and make a Smooth Batter. Set it aside for 5 minutes. add chopped green chilies, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix it well. Besan batter for making Pakoras is ready now. Meanwhile heat enough Oil in pan for frying Bread Pakoras. Dip the Bread Slices one by one in besan Batter completely, so as to make a besan coating on it. Then slowly dip them into the Oil. Deep fry the Pakoras by fliping it both sides, till they become golden-brown in color. Serve Bread Pakoras hot with Green Chutney / Tomato Ketchup.
