Mushrooms are everyone's favourite. It is delicious as a fried topping or as a main ingredient to a dish. Try it out!

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Mushroom - 500 g


  • Corn flour - 2 tbsp


  • Rice flour - 3 tbsp


  • Maida - 3 tsp


  • Ginger garlic paste - 3 tsp


  • Red food colour - 1 pinch


  • Salt - 2 tsp


  • Garam masala powder - 2 tsp


  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp


  • Oil - 1 cup

Directions

  • Wash the button mushrooms in running water
  • Drain the water completely and slit each into 2 halves
  • Add Maida, corn flour, rice flour, chilli powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste and mix well
  • Add salt and food colour and mix well
  • Sprinkle some water and mix well so that all mushrooms get coated well
  • Deep fry in hot oil in medium flame
  • Fry till it turns crispy
  • Now protein rich mushroom fry or mushroom 65 is ready to serve
  • Mushrooms are rich in selenium which boosts our immunity
