Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 tbsp american boiled corns


  • 2 tbsp cornflour powder


  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour


  • 1 cups oil for deep fry


  • 2 nos medium sized onions(thinly sliced)


  • 1 nos small sized onion (chopped for garnishing)


  • 8-10 nos coriander leaves -(finely chopped for garnishing)


  • 2 nos capsicums (thinly sliced)


  • 4-5 nos garlic cloves(crushed)


  • 2 nos green chilies (optional)(finely chopped)


  • 1 pinch salt as per taste


  • 1 tsp dry mango powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder(optional)


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder as per taste


  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup


  • 1 tsp chili garlic sauce(i have used fun food brand)


  • 2 nos lemon wedges for garnish

Directions

  • Firstly take a bowl add boiled corns in it.
  • Now add cornflour powder,all purpose flour and some salt in the boiled corns.
  • Mix the powder and corns together.
  • Coat the corns properly Take a wok add oil for deep frying the corns.
  • Heat the oil.
  • Add the coated corns in the hot oil in batches.
  • When the corns will start changing its color,it means they are done.
  • Now put the fried corns on an absorbent paper.
  • Do the same process with the remaining corns.
  • Now take again a small wok add 2 tsp oil.
  • Heat it up.
  • Add sliced onions and capsicum in it.
  • Now add salt,green chilies,red chili powder and dry mango powder.
  • Stir it gently.
  • After that when the onions and capsicum turns little crispy ,slow down the flame and add tomato ketchup.pepper powder and chili garlic sauce.
  • Stir it for 2 minutes and switch off the flame.
  • Take the fried corns and mix them in the wok.
  • Sprinkle coriander and some raw onions on the corns.
  • Garnish it with lemon wedges. Enjoy your Chili Corn Chaat at home.
