Soak poha in water for 5 minutes and then mash it well
Add curd, baking soda. Mix well. Set aside for 10 minutes
Add rest of the ingredients and mix well
Heat oil in a pan. Wet your palms
Make lemon sized balls, flatten it and make hole in centre
Drop in hot oil. Deep fry over medium heat until golden brown
Drain excess oil on absorbent towel
Serve hot with sambar or chutney
