Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1cup grated paneer


  • 1cup beaten rice flakes (jada poha)


  • 1/4cup finely chopped spinach (palak)


  • 1boiled grated potato


  • 1no finely chopped onion


  • 2tblsp boiled green peas


  • 3no finely chopped green chilli


  • 1tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1tbsp lemon juice


  • 1tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1tsp red chilli powder


  • 1tsp coriander powder


  • 1tsp chhat masala


  • 2tsp corn flour and salt to taste


  • To be mixed in batter:-4tbsp maida


  • 4tbsp water and pinch of salt


  • Other ingredients:-1/2roasted vermicelli, green peas, coriander leaves


  • For paneer balls:-1/4cup paneer and pinch of salt

Directions

  • Wash and drain the rice flakes, keep aside.
  • Combine all the ingredients for nest and mix well.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a round ball.
  • Press in center with thumb and shape as a bird nest.
  • Dip each nest in the batter and coat in vermicelli till evenly coated from all the sides.
  • Keep aside and frezze 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai on a midium flame and deep fry the nest till they are golden brown
  • Drain on an absorbent paper.
  • Take one nest and put 3to4 balls in nest.
  • Garnish with peas, coariander leaves.
  • Serve with tomato ketchup.
