Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 110g all purpose flour


  • 1 egg


  • 1 teaspoon baking powder


  • 1/2 cup sugar


  • 60g unsalted butter at room temperature


  • 1.5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar


  • 60g white chocolate chopped in chunks


  • 1 teaspoon red colour or as required


  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice


  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Sieve flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt. Keep it aside
  • Blend sugar and butter until creamy
  • Add egg and blend until smooth and frothy
  • Add lemon juice, Vanilla extract and red food colouring. Blend well
  • Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until well combined
  • Add chopped chocolate chunks and fold gently
  • Cover vessel with cling wrap. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours
  • Take spoonful of Dough. Coat with powdered sugar
  • Place on parchment paper on Baking tray. Flatten the Cookies slightly
  • Leave gap of 4-5 cm between Cookies. Do until dough is completed
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes in preheated oven at 180 until they are cracked
  • Cool on baking tray for 25 minutes
  • Cool on wire rack completely
  • Store in airtight container
