Ingredients

Serves 10

  • 250 gm besan

  • 1 tbsp Crushed garlic

  • 1 tsp red chilly flakes

  • 1 tsp Crushed coriander

  • 1/2 tsp Crushed black pepper

  • 1 tsp salt or as per your taste

  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp red chilly powder

  • 1/4 tsp hing (asfoetida)

  • 500 gm oil for deep fry

  • 4-5 tbsp Oil or ghee for moyan

  • 1 tsp Crushed fennel seeds

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Mix all properly.

    Add required water to knead a semi soft dough. Keep rest for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Put a kadhai on high flame and heat oil in it for frying the ganthia.

  • 04

    Place the half dough in the ganthia maker and press to make ganthias in the kadhai. Let them fry in the oil.

    Put the flame to medium and fry till they light golden.

  • 06

    Drain the excess oil. Break these fried long strings into small pieces.

  • 07

    Let them cool, and store them in a airtight container. Enjoy spicy indori ganthia.
