Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 large onion


  • 2 boiled potatoes


  • 1/3 cup paneer


  • 1 cup bread crumbs


  • 1/2 tspn red chilli powder


  • 1/2 tspn aamchur powder


  • 1 tspn chat masala powder


  • 2 tblspn corn flour


  • 2 tblspn maida / plain flour


  • 2 cup oil for deep-frying


  • 1 /2 tspn salt or to taste

Directions

  •  In a large mixing bowl take boiled potatoes and mash well.
  • Add mashed paneer.
  • Now add chilli powder, chaat masala , aamchur powder and salt. mix well and keep aside.
  • Take large or medium sized onions and cut in to slices.
  • Separate the onion slices into rings, and keep aside.
  • Now take 2 onion rings of one larger size and one smaller size.
  •  Stuff the prepared aloo-paneer stuffing in between them.
  • Mix maida and corn flour along with water. mix well to form a lump free batter. Now dip the onion ring in batter.
  • Then coat with bread crumbs. 
  • Again dip in corn flour batter and coat with bread crumbs. And press gently. Now freeze it in freezer for 15-30 minutes
  • Heat oil. Place the rings carefully in the oil.
  • Fry till they turn golden brown. Darin on an absorbent paper.
  • Enjoy with your favorite Tomatoe ketchup or any dip.
