Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 cup of soaked Moong Dal for 5-6 hours


  • 2 whole red chillies


  • 1/4 tspn turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tspn salt


  • 1 tspn ginger garlic paste


  • 1/6 tspn hing/ asafoetida


  • 3 cups oil


  • 1 pinch baking soda


  • 1 finely chopped onion


  • 1 grated Radish


  • 1/4 cup green chutney

Directions

  • Soak moon dal for 5 -6 hours. Sieve it
  • Grind it with red chillies to fine thick paste
  • To it add turmeric powder , salt, hing,ginger garlic paste, baking soda
  • Mix well.
  • Deep fry it in hot oil till golden brown
  • Remove it and garnish with finely chopped onion, grated radish and green chutney.
  • Serve hot with tea
