Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 bowls besan


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 tsp chat masala


  • 1 tsp dhania powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 250 ml oil for frying


  • 1/2 tsp ajwain

Directions

  • Take a mixing bowl and add besan in it.
  • Now add all the dry ingredients to it.
  • Mix it while adding little bit water.
  • Make a tight dough of it.
  • On the other hand boil two glass of water in a vessel.
  • Make balls of the dough.
  • roll all the balls
  • When water boils at its maximum the drop all the rolls one by one into the boiling water.
  • When gatte or roll starts floating up in the water then it means they are getting cooked.
  • After 5-10 min remove the gatte from the water in the plate.
  • Let them cool.
  • In the meanwhile heat the oil in the kadai for frying .
  • When it cool down then cut these rolls or gatte into half inch pieces.
  • Put all of the gatte into the heated oil.
  • Deep fry them.
  • Remove it from the oil when they get crunchy.
  • Our crunchy Gatte is ready to crunch.
