Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • Boiled and Mashed Potatoes 1 ½ cup


  • Puff Pastry Sheet 2 sheets


  • Oil 4 tsp


  • Mustard Seeds / Rai ½ tsp


  • Cumin Seeds / Jeera ½ tsp


  • Sesame Seeds / Til ½ tsp


  • Fennel Seeds / Saumph ½ tsp


  • Asafetida / Hing ¼ tsp


  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal mirchi ¾ tsp


  • Turmeric Powder / Haldi ¼ tsp


  • Coriander Powder / Dhaniya ¾ tsp


  • Garam Masala ½ tsp


  • Sugar ¼ tsp


  • Salt ½ tsp


  • Lemon Juice 1 tsp


  • Coriander Leaves handful


  • Milk for wash as required

Directions

  • In a heating pan, add 4 tsp of Oil, ½ tsp of Mustard Seeds (Rai), ½ tsp of Cumin Seeds (Jeera), ½ tsp of Sesame Seeds, ½ tsp of Fennel Seeds, ¼ tsp of Asafetida, boiled and mashed Potatoes and mix well.
  • Then add ¾ tsp Red Chilli powder, ¼ tsp of Turmeric powder, ¾ tsp of Coriander Powder, ½ tsp of Garam Masala, ¼ tsp of Sugar, ½ tsp of Salt, 1 tsp of Lemon Juice and freshly chopped Coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Then take the one Puff pastry sheets and cut into six equal squares.
  • Add spoonful of Potato stuffing and give a triangle fold by sealing the edges.
  • Similar way, make all 12 Puffs, seal the edges with the help of fork and keep aside.
  • Then on a baking tray grease the plate or place the parchment paper on baking tray and give a Milk wash to all Veg Puffs.
  • Preheat the Oven at 180° C for 7 Min and bake for 20 Min.
  • Baked Veg Puff is ready to serve hot with Mayonnaise Sauce.
