Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 4 large potatoes


  • 1 Red chilli powder


  • 3 tbspn All purpose flour/ Maida


  • 3 Tbspn Corn flour


  • 3/4 Tspn salt


  • 1 tspn Ginger paste


  • 1 tspn garlic paste


  • 1/2 Tspn All spice powder/Garam Masala


  • 1 cup oil for frying


  • 1 Egg ( optional )


  • 1/4 Tspn Red color


  • 3 Green chillies


  • 1 /4 cup curd


  • 10 -12 curry leaves


  • 3 tbspn water

Directions

  • Boil potatoes and cut them into 8 pieces or of your choice
  • Take a bowl add Maida , corn flour, 1/2 tspn red chilli powder , 1/2 tspn salt , 1 tspn ginger garlic paste, Garam masala , red color , Egg if you wish too.. add water and make it into thick paste.
  • Add boil potatoes to the mixture and deep fry it . Take it on a plate
  • Take a pan and add some oil . To it add remaining red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste , curd , a pinch of salt and let it cook for few minutes till water evaporates
  • Add fried potatoes to it
  • Mix well.
  • Lastly take 1/2 tspn of oil. To it add slit green chillies and curry leaves. Fry it for 10 sec. Dont burn them.
  • Add the tadka to the potatoes. Serve spicy hot aloo 65 with tea or coffee.
