  • 225 gm paneer cut into cubes, 1 head of cauliflower broken into small florets, 2-3 boiled potatoes cut into cubes,green chillies 3-4, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder,salt to taste,1/2 tsp sugar, ginger paste- 1 tsp, cumin paste or powder- 1 tsp,oil- 1tbsp,bay leaf-1, tomato-1 (chopped), cardamom pods-2.

Directions

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large non-stick frying pan & fry the cauliflowers. Boiled the potatoes & cut them into cubes. Put the paneer cubes in a boiling water for 10mints & then drain the water. Remove the cauliflowers from the oil & in the same oil add green chillies (slitted),bay leaf, cardamon ,then add chopped tomatoes ,ginger paste,cumin powder/paste,boiled potatoes , salt ,turmeric powder ,1/2 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder & some water & mix well. Then add the cauliflowers & 1 cup warm water & give a boil.Cook for another 5 mint until the cauliflowers are just tender. Then add the paneer cubes,& cook for another 5 mints. .Bring to a simmer. Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot with phulkas & steamed rice.
