Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • whole fat milk 2 litre


  • 1 lemon


  • semolina 1 tsp


  • all purpose flour 1 tsp


  • oil for frying 2 cups


  • cardamom 2-3


  • almonds 5-6


  • cashew 5-6


  • pistachio 5-6


  • sugar 1/2 cup or as per your taste


  • baking powder 1/2 tsp

Directions

  • boil 1 litre of milk and squeeze a lemon to curdle it...
  • strain it in a strainer and keep allow it to expel the excess water in it
  • keep it in the strainer for 15 mins
  • take the paneer and mash it well for 8-10 mins
  • add all purpose flour,semolina and baking powder
  • mix well and make small flat balls out of it
  • heat sufficient oil in a Kadhai and deep fry these flat balls
  • in the meanwhile boil the remaining milk to boil and continue to boil till reduced to half
  • add sugar and crushed cardamom and switch off the gas
  • add the chhena balls in to the reduced milk
  • add chopped dryfruits
  • cool it completely
  • garnish with dryfruits and serve
