Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Basmati rice 1 glass


  • Bay leaves 2


  • Cloves 3-4


  • Black pepper 2


  • Salt 1 tsp


  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp


  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp


  • Coriander powder 1 tsp


  • Garam masala 1 tsp


  • Biryani masala 1 tsp


  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp chopped


  • Onion 3


  • Potato 1


  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp


  • Carrot 1


  • Cauliflower 1/2 floret


  • Oil 1 tbsp


  • Curd 1/4 cup


  • 1/2 cup fried onions


  • Mint leaves 2 tsp chopped

Directions

  • Wash and soak basmati rice.cook rice in rice cooker or a pan till half done.drain excess water and take the rice into tge plate.let it cool.
  • Fry one onion till golden brown and take it out in a pan
  • Heat oil in a mud pot saute bay leaves ,cumin seeds,cinnamon stick ,black pepper cloves,onions saute well.
  • Add ginger garlic paste add all spices and salt
  • Add all chopped veges let it cook for some time
  • Add curd and mix well
  • Remove half of gravy in a bowl
  • Take the mud pit with some gravy spread a layer of rice
  • Now layer the gravy with the remaining rice
  • Spread mint coriander leaves and fried onions on the top
  • Close it with a plate and seal it with wheat flour dough.Put the mud pot in dum under very low flame
  • Keep it on low flame to avoid burning
  • Serve it with raita
