Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 cup boiled and grated raw banana


  • 1/2 cup gram flour


  • 1/2 tsp dry mango powder


  • 1/2 tsp salt or as per taste


  • 1/2 tsp dry red chili powder


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida


  • 1 tsp oil


  • 2 cups oil for deep frying

Directions

  • combine all the ingrediants except oil
  • mix well and make a dough
  • oil the dough with 1 tsp oil and keep aside
  • take a sev maker and grease with oil
  • place the dough inside the sev maker and close the lid
  • heat oil in a kadai and press the sev maker to make sev
  • turn the side of sev, once it starts floating in the oil
  • take the sev out, once its colour changes
  • once cooled, serve or store in an air tight container
