Leftover Rice Roti with a Twist For Kid's

  • 2 cups leftover cooked rice

  • 3 green chillies

  • 1/2 inch grated Ginger

  • 1/2 cup rice flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or salt to taste

  • 1 fistful coriander leaves

  • 1 tsp cummin seeds

  • 2 tablespoon oil for making roti


  • Grind leftover rice ,cummin seeds ,Chilli and ginger in a mixer .
  • To the rice mixture add rice flour and salt to taste
  • Mix well till it binds together
  • Divide rice mixture into four balls
  • Dab the rice ball with rice flour and roll with a Rolling pin
  • Heat tawa on a medium flame
  • Transfer the uncooked rice roti to the tawa carefully
  • Drizzle oil and cook for few minutes on both the .Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve Leftover Rice roti with any pickle, chutney or tomato sauce.
