Serves 4

  • 1 large boiled potato

  • 4 bun

  • 1 egg for coating

  • 1 egg to fry omlett

  • 4 tsp mayo

  • 4 tsp cheese

  • 1 onion

  • 5 thin slices of capsicum

  • 1/2 tsp chat masala powder

  • 1 pinch salt

    Smash the potato, add the onions,chat masala and salt and mix well. Keep aside

    Beat an egg and keep aside

  • 03

    Take the Bun and with the help of the knife make a circle on the top and remove the inner part of it. Press the corners and the base carefully. It should look like a pot from inside

    Heat 2 tbsp oil and allow it to heat

    From the smashed potato mixture make a lemon sized ball, flatten it carefully and coat it wil the beaten egg. Shallow fry it on a pan. Once done remove it on a tissue paper. Prepare an omelette with the remaining egg or if required beat another egg.

    Assembling the Bun : Add a tsp of mayo to the Bun then add a tsp of cheese over it place a piece of fried egg. Place the fried patty and give it a slight press. Place a piece of fried egg and add a slice of capsicum and cover the Bun . Prepare the remaining buns in the same way.

    Final touch : toast the buns on both the sides and serve hot with tomato sauce.
