Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gms cottage cheese (paneer)


  • 2 nos onions


  • 1 nos tomato


  • 1 nos capsicum


  • 1-2 tsp salt


  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp red chili powder


  • 2 nos green chillies


  • 2 tsp vinegar


  • 2-3 tsp tomato ketchup


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder


  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp


  • 1 sprig coriander leaves


  • 2 tbsp oil

Directions

  • • Heat oil in a pan / wok
  • • Once oil gets hot enough, add cumin seeds and saute
  • • Add green chillies and saute
  • • Add sliced onions & saute again
  • • Add salt and mix it well
  • • Add ginger garlic paste & saute
  • • Add sliced tomatoes & capsicum and saute
  • • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder & garam masala powder and mix well
  • • Add vinegar & tomato ketchup and mix well
  • • Add cottage cheese (Paneer) and mix well
  • • Add handfull of coriander leaves and mix well
  • • Switch off the flame as Paneer Jalfrezi is ready to serve
  • • Remove on a serving plate
  • • Serve hot with roti or naan
