Serves 3

  • 100gm soya chunks

  • 300gm long grain basmati rice

  • 1 cup green peas

  • 1 large onion sliced

  • 1 deseeded tomato chopped

  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste

  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste (optional)

  • 3 dried red chilies

  • 3 green chilies (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • Salt as per taste

  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder

  • 3 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves

  • 4 tablespoons oil

    Take large mixing bowl and intjar bowl fill water and add 1 teaspoon salt mix n deep all soya chunks, keep aside for 45minutes.

    Heat oil in wok splutter cumin seeds. Add onion and saute for 2 minutes on low high flame n add ginger garlic paste n saute for min on low flame.

    Take out soya chunks from water drain extra water fromĀ  soya chunks by press gently, now add soya chunks,. red chili powder, garam masala powder and some choppedĀ  coriander leaves if required then add little water n then bhunno.

    Add basmati rice with required water n cook till done. switch off the flame and wait till air release. Garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves.

    Serve this soyachunks pulao with raita.
