  • 1.Suji 1 cup

  • 2.Curd 1/2 cup

  • 3.baking soda 1tsp

  • 4.Salt

  • 5.Turmeric Powder (for yellow colour)

  • 6.Sesame seeds

  • 7.Mustard seeds/cumin seeds

  • 8. Sugar


  • Take a bowl add suji and curd add mix properly.
  • Add salt
  • Keep aside for 5 minutes.
  • Put this batter in the greased idli mould
  • Steam it for 10 minutes
  • For tadaka take a pan put oil in it add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds and now idalis .mix it nicely. put half tsp sugar .its ready to serve.
