Noodles Masala kebabs

Description

This is my new and innovative version of delicious and healthy mouth-melting kababs prepared from our very own oats maggi noodles. It is crisp outside and soft and flavourful from inside.  No one can eat just one.

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 pack oats maggi noodles


  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder


  • 1 teaspoon cashews coarsely broken


  • 1 teaspoon garlic pods chopped


  • 2 potatoes boiled and mashed


  • 2 tablespoons grated carrot


  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala


  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes


  • 2 green chillies chopped


  • 1/4 th cup cheese grated


  • 1 packet maggi masala tastemaker


  • 1/4th teaspoon salt or to taste


  • 2 tablespoons Bread crumbs to coat


  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil (to shallow fry)

Directions

  • Cook the noodles with masala taste maker as per the instructions on the pack, the consistency should be very thick, almost semi dry.
  • Add prepared noodles, potatoes, salt, cashews, cumin powder, garlic, garam masala, chilli flakes, tastemaker, cheese, ginger powder, coriander leaves and carrot in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  • Now take a big lemon size mixture and roll it in the shape of a kebab.
  • Repeat the procedure to make more kebabs, and coat them all with bread crumbs
  • Add a teaspoon of olive oil to a non-stick pan and place the kebabs one by one and shallow fry on medium flame.
  • Keep turning them from time to time until golden brown in colour and crisp.
  • Serve crispy hot noodles masala kebabs with green mint coriander chutney or tomato ketchup.
  • My tip
  • Do not overdo the mixing otherwise the noodles will get mushy.
  • You can add other vegetables of your choice.
