Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Coriander chopped 2 cups


  • Salt 1 tsp


  • Yoghurt 3 tbsp


  • Oil/Ghee 1 1/2 tbsp


  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp


  • Garlic mince 1 tbsp


  • Green chillies 3


  • Cooked rice 3 cups

Directions

  • Wash coriander and chop it roughly along with the stems. Heat oil or ghee and add cumin seeds to it.
  • Also add garlic mince and chopped chillies. Add all this to the blender along with coriander and yoghurt. Add salt and blend on high until it is smooth and glossy.
  • For serving, mix about 4 tablespoons of this chutney with the rice and serve hot with ghee and poppadums.
  • Absolutely a divine meal. It is nothing but a chutney mixed with cooked rice and ghee. It is such a quick one too. Lovely meal for a heart warming lunch or dinner. The best part is you can serve it even with the leftover rice too. The soothing colour adds to its beauty even more and the taste is so yum that you will just love to have it every other day.
