Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1kg basmati rice


  • 1kg mutton


  • 1cup curd


  • 3-4 tomatoes


  • 2-3 potatoes


  • 1small bunch mint


  • 1|small bunch mint


  • 4tbs ginger garlic paste( freshly grounded)


  • 2tbs red chli pd


  • 3-4 green chlies


  • 1tbs coriander pd


  • 1tsp turmeric pd


  • 1tsp garam masala


  • 1cup brown onion( barista)


  • 2tbz ghee


  • 5-6 tbs oil


  • 1/2 tsp orange colour


  • 10-12 Soaked n peeled Almonds


  • 3-4 tbs salt

Directions

  • Marinate mutton with curd, turmeric and salt.
  • Wash and soak rice for 30 mins.
  • Boil potatoes, peel cht into big pieces and fry in oil
  • In a cooker add oil then little broen onion followed by ginger garlic paste
  • Now add mutton n cook on high for 5-10 mins till colour changes
  • Now add chilli pd,coriander pd, mint , coriander, crushed brown onion and take 2-3 whistle or till mutton cooks
  • In a big vessel boil water add whole garam masala mint leaves,coriander drops of lemon and oil
  • Once the water start boiling add rice n cook only 75 %
  • Drain water n keep aside
  • Check whether mutton cooms or not,if yes
  • Then add whole green chillies and cook till water absorbs if any left over
  • Add fried potatoes in gravy.
  • Chop tomatoes in rings
  • Take vessel down layer add rice middle layer mutton, mint ,coriander leaves, fried onion n then arrange all tbe tomatoes and then spread remaining rice
  • Now up add food colour, mint leaves, coiander leaves, fried onion and sprinkle ghee on top
  • Cover it properly n cook on low heat till your nose receive nice aroma of biryani
  • Switch off n let it likd that only for 10-15 mins.
  • Then dush out decorate with fried onion and Almonds.
  • Serve with Raita.
