Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Rice: 2 cups cooked

  • Curd: 1 n 1/2 cups

  • Milk: 1/2 cup

  • Salt: 1 tsp

  • Mustard seeds: 1 tsp

  • Cumin seeds: 1 tsp

  • Split urad dal: 1 tsp

  • Dry red chillies: 2

  • Green chillies: 2 finely chopped

  • Curry leaves: 3 to 4 sprigs

  • Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp chopped

  • Asoefitida: 1/2 tsp

  • Ghee: 2 tbsp

Directions

    Cook white rice,it is better if overcooked.

    Add the cooked rice into a bowl, mash it properly.

    Beat the curd well and add this to the rice.

    Add milk and salt and mix well.

  • 05

    Heat a kadai, add ghee.

  • 06

    To this add mustard seeds, cumin seeds,split urad dal. Let it crackle

    Add dry red chillies,curry leaves, green chillies and asoefitida.

    Add mixed curd rice to the kadai and mix well.

  • 09

    Add chopped coriander leaves and give it a mix.
