Potatoes large 4
Salt 1 tsp
Gram flour or besan 1 1/2 cups
Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
Dry mango powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic green chilli paste 1 tsp
Oil for frying 2 cups
Make a thick batter using water as desired. The batter should be smooth and should coat the back of the spoon when you lift it up. Keep it covered for 15 minutes.
Wash and peel the potatoes using a potato chipper. Dip each chip into the batter and deep fry few at a time in hot oil.
Keep the heat on medium high only. Deep fry until golden and crisp.
Serve these yummy pakoras at iftaar to impress your guests.
