Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 tablespoon ghee


  • 1 teaspoon cumine seeds


  • 2 cardamom


  • 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste


  • 2 finely chopped green chillies


  • 10 curry leaves


  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1 cup rice (Ambemohar)


  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  • 1 cup peas


  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar


  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice


  • 2 cups of water


  • 2 teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves


  • 2 teaspoon garam masala powder

Directions

  • wash and soak rice for 15 minutes
  • heat ghee and add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, cardamom, ginger garlic paste, green chillies and curry leaves fry for a minute
  • now add turmeric powder & coriander powder
  • add rice and toss nicely in ghee
  • add masala powder, peas,salt, sugar and mix well
  • add water and cook in a vessel with close fitting lid on medium fire until tender and water is absorbed.
