Ingredients

  • Lauki 1 cup


  • Chanadal 1 cup


  • Bay leaf 1


  • Ginger 1 inch


  • Garlic cloves 5


  • Green chilies 2


  • Red chili 4


  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp


  • Haldi 1/2 tsp


  • Gram flour 1/4 cup


  • Garam masala 1 tsp

Directions

  • Soak chanadal for half an hour.
  • Now deseed Lauki and cut into small pieces.
  • Heat a pan add all the ingredients except gram flour and garam masala.
  • Now add little water and let the dal cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes check it. If cooked more than 80% then turn off the flame or cook for more 2 3 minutes.
  • Let the mixture come to room temperature. When cooled grind it into smooth padte.
  • Heat oil in a pan enough for frying the pakodas.
  • Now add gram flour garam masala and salt as per taste.
  • Fry the pakodas till golden brown. Serve!!
