Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • for crust, 3/4 cup wheat flour


  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour


  • 1/2 cup cold butter


  • 1/4 cup ice cold water


  • 1 tbsp vinegar


  • 3/4 tsp salt 1/4 cup grated carrot 1 tbsp kasuri methi


  • For Filling, 2 boiled and mashed potato 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp garlic paste


  • 1/2 tsp green chilli paste


  • 1 tsp chat masala 1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp roasted cumin powder


  • 1 tsp chilli flakes


  • 1 tsp crushed corriender seeds


  • 1 tbsp chopped corriender


  • 1/2 tsp salt or as per taste


  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese


  • 1 tbsp milk for glaze


  • 1 tbsp oil for cooking

Directions

  • Mix both flour and salt in a deep mixing bowl, add chilled butter and rub nicely till mixture makes crumbles
  • Now add kasuri methi grated carrot and vinegar and mix lightly
  • Now add ice cold water gradually, knead it and make soft dough
  • Now cover this dough with plastic and keep the dough in fridge for atleast 2 hours or to chilled
  • Other side heat oil in pan add cumin seeds
  • When sluptter add garlic and chilli paste and stir
  • Now add boiled and mashed potato and mix
  • Add crushed corrinder,chat masala,garam masala, roasted cumin powder, chilli flakes and salt and mix nicely
  • Finally add fresh chopped corriender and mix well
  • Now outside the dough and wait for to room temperature
  • Now spread the dough with finger on plain surface and make rough circle
  • Spread the cheese in the base left 1 inch from corner
  • Now spread the samosa filling evenly over the cheese and fold the sides of base inside
  • Now grease the edges with milk
  • Preheat the oven and bake the Galette at 180* for 25 to 30 minutes or till crisp the crust
  • Now Whole wheat Carrot Cheese Samosa Galette is ready to serve, Garnish with some grated carrot and chopped corriender
  • Serve hot for more taste with sauce and chutney
