Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1/2cup Brown Rice

  • 3/4cup moong dal

  • 1/2cup Broken wheat (Dalia)

  • 1cup Potato, Green peas, Cauliflower chopped

  • 1cup Onion chopped

  • 1tblsp Ginger-green chilli paste

  • 1/2tsp Black pepper powder

  • 1/2tsp haldi power

  • 1tsp Red chilli powder

  • 4cup water

  • 3Cloves, 1 Dalchini, 1Bayleaf

  • 1tsp whole jeera

  • Pinch hing 1/8tsp ,

  • 1tsp salt

  • 3tblsp Ghee/oil

Directions

  • 01

    Heat oil in pressure cooker add the hing, cumin seeds

  • 02

    When the cumin seeds crackle, add the cloves, dalchini, bayleaf

  • 03

    Add the ginger-green chilli paste and chopped onion saute a till golden brown

  • 04

    Then add moong dal, rice, broken wheat mix well.

  • 05

    Add vegetsbles,masala, mix well

  • 06

    Add water mix it presure cook 3to4 whistles

  • 07

    Then cook for 5 minutes on a low flame

  • 08

    Garnish with coriander leaves

  • 09

    Serve with curd & paped.
