Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1/2 cups small grained basmati rice


  • 2 litre full fat milk


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 1/2 cups condensed milk


  • 2-3 nos cardamom


  • 6-8 nos cashew


  • 6-8 nos almonds


  • 8-10 nos pistachio

Directions

  • in a blender take rice and coarsely grind it
  • in a pan boil milk
  • add rice to the boiling milk and stir
  • cook till milk reduced to half stirring in between
  • cook it in low flame..this process takes around 45-50 mins
  • add condensed milk and sugar and mix well
  • crush cardamom and put it in the phirni and mix well
  • roast cashew and almond and chop them finely
  • keep some of the dryfruits for garnishing and rest put in the phirni
  • mix well...
  • U can cool it and serve or serve hot as per your choice
  • garnish with dryfruits and silver foil and serve
