Soak the rice for 15 mins . Drain water and keep aside
Heat a cooker.
Add oil. Add hing bay leaf and the whole peppers cinnamon cardamom and cloves
Add the onion . Fry till a bit crisp
Add the veggies and green chillies
Add salt and red chilli powder
Mix well
Add the curd and biryani masala
Mix properly
Now add the rice on the top of the veggies.
Add water . The amount should be a bit less than double the amount of rice
Close the lid of the cooker and cook on low flame for 15 minutes .
Open the lid and add ghee on top layer
To serve remove a layer from below and top again with another layer
Serve with raita .
