Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3/4 cup roasted besan


  • 1 tsp cardamom


  • 1 large ripe banana mashed


  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda


  • 2 tbsp Canola oil


  • 1 egg at room temperature


  • 1/4 yoghurt at room temperature


  • 1/4 cup nuts of your choice


  • 1/8 teaspoon salt


  • 1/4 cup powdered or cane sugar

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180 and line cake tin. Sieve baking powder, baking soda, salt and besan. Add Cardamom to sieved ingredients and mix well. keep it aside
  • In a bowl, whisk egg, oil, sugar, vanilla extract and yoghurt well
  • Add bananas and nuts. Mix well
  • Add dry ingredients and mix until well combined
  • Add batter into prepared cake tin
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until toothpick inserted into centre should be clean
  • Allow to cool for 30 minutes
  • Demould and cool on wire rack completely
  • Dust with icicing sugar or frost and serve. OR serve as is
