Ingredients

  • Toor dal 1 cup

  • Mixed chopped vegtable ( used carrot, beens, brinjal) 2 cup

  • Salt 1 1/2 tsp

  • Tumeric powder 1 tsp

  • Chilli powder 1 tsp / green chilli 3

  • Sambar powder 1 tsp

  • Cumin 1 tsp

  • Hing 1/4 tsp

  • Tamrin water 1/4 cup optional

  • Tomato 1

  • Curry leaf 1 /4 cup

  • Ghee 3 tsp or more

  • Coriander leaf 1 cup

  • Little millet rice 1 cup

  • water 8 cups

  • Small onion 6

Directions

    wash and soak 1 cup Thoor dal and little millet rice 1 cup for 1/2 an hour

  • 02

    Heat pressure cooker add water to boil and add dal, millet. onion and mixed vegtable

  • 03

    Now add all powderes (cumin, tumeric, salt, chilli powder, sambar Powder and asafodia)

    Finally add tomato and tamarin water.

    add ghee, Curry and Coriander leaf.. then Mix well and close the lid for 6-7 whistels

  • 06

    Ready to serve hot with fried vegtables or spicy non veg.
