Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • for schezwan noodles:2 tsp oil


  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped


  • 3 stem spring onions finely chopped


  • 1 small capsicum thinly sliced


  • 1 carrot thinly shredded


  • 1/2 cup cabbage thinly shredded


  • 1 tbsp schezwan sauce


  • 1 tsp soy sauce


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp vinegar


  • 1 rice noodles / maggie / any noodles cooked


  • for dosa: 4 cup dosa batter


  • 3 tbsp butter


  • 3 tsp schezwan sauce


  • Ingredients of Idli Burger: 6 idlis


  • 4 tsp mint and coriander chutney


  • 3 thinly sliced tomato


  • 3 thinly sliced onion


  • 1 cup oil


  • 2 cups of diced vegetables (peas, carrot and potatoes)


  • 1 tsp maida


  • 1 pinch of turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste


  • 1 Tbsp fresh coriander leaves chopped


  • 2 Cheese slice (Optional)


  • 2_3 Lettuce


  • 1tsp salt

Directions

  • firstly, in a large kadai or wok heat oil.
  • further add garlic and saute well.
  • also add spring onions and continue to sauce.
  • now add vegetables and saute for a minute or till they shrink slightly.
  • additionally add salt, schezwan sauce, soy sauce and vinegar.
  • also add cooked rice noodles or any noodles of your choice.
  • mix gently without breaking the rice noodles and making sure the sauce has covered uniformly. keep aside.
  • How to prepare schezwan noodle dosa or spring dosa: šŸ‘‡ pour a ladleful of the dosa batter on it and spread it in a circular motion thin circle.
  • add a dollop of butter add schezwan sauce and mix schezwan sauce and butter together and spread.
  • also spread 2 tbsp of prepared schezwan noodles at one side.
  • cook till the bottom of dosa turns golden brown.
  • then roll the dosa along with noodles.
  • finally, cut half schezwan noodle dosa or spring dosa and serve immediately with tomato sauce.
  • For idli burger:Heat oil and fry idlis till golden brown. Make sure they're crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
  • Apply chutney on each side of the idli.
  • Boil diced vegetables till well done. Drain water and allow them to cool.
  • Saute onion, add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Saute for a couple of minutes and then let it cool.
  • Mash the vegetables and onion mixture. Add maida, coriander leaves and salt to taste, mix well.
  • Make cutlets that are about the same size as the idlis. Shallow fry cutlets till golden brown.
  • How to assemble burger - Place the cutlet and cheese slice in the middle, and then add onion and tomato slices,lettuce, in each side sandwiching the cutlet.
